As a true Cali girl, Christina Hodnet started out in the film industry in front of the camera. Born and raised in Southern California, her work with incredible photographers and directors ignited a spark that led her to dump her engineering degree mid-process and pursue a film degree at The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.

Clearly, it was the right choice and she has never looked back.

​Christiana prides herself on exposing the beautifully awkward and imperfect reality of life. More interested in capturing the moment in between moments, she finds the small nuances reveal the truth: the photo you don’t post because it’s not perfect, but is more beautiful and charming than the curated version.

With almost 20 years of experience, she has brought life to commercials all over the world. Currently living in Toronto with her Canadian film director husband, 2 kids, 1 dog, and a hamster that seems to be living way past his promised expiry date, Christina loves the mess of real life and captures it with authenticity.
